What happens if my Lemmo is stolen?

If your Lemmo is stolen and your claim is approved, you are excellently insured. Is the bike stolen or declared a total loss within the first 3 years after the start date? Then the ANWB reimburses the full purchase value. This allows you to purchase a new Lemmo immediately. From the fourth year onwards, a depreciation scheme applies.

What requirements does the insurance have for my bicycle lock?

The ANWB sets strict requirements for e-bikesYour Lemmo must always be locked with an approved ART-2 lock. Additionally, the use of a second ART-2 lock (such as a chain) is mandatory to be covered against theft.

Do I get a discount with Lemmo's smart features?

The ANWB offers a 20% discount on the theft premium if your bicycle is equipped with an additional Kiwa SCM-approved track & trace transmitter, including an active tracking subscription. Check whether the built-in functions meet this specific certification to qualify for the discount.

Is the Smartpac (battery) of my Lemmo also insured?

Yes, the battery (Smartpac) of your Lemmo is automatically included in the Theft or Theft & Damage coverages. Whether the damage is caused by a collision or theft of the battery itself, you are covered. Refurbished batteries are also covered.

How much is the deductible?

The ANWB applies the following amounts for the deductible:

Theft or total loss: 5% of the insured amount.
Damage (e.g. after a fall): A fixed amount of €50.
Theft of individual parts (such as the battery): A fixed amount of €50.

When am I entitled to roadside assistance?

With roadside assistance coverage, the ANWB is ready to help you with technical problems. What makes it unique is that the ANWB not only provides assistance while on the road, but also offers help from your own home or holiday address. If necessary, you and your Lemmo will be taken to a specialist or back home.
