The VanMoof S5 has a variable range of up to 150 kilometers, depending on the selected support level, riding style, terrain and weather conditions.
The VanMoof S5 is equipped with a 250W rear-wheel motor, which provides pedal assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h, in accordance with European regulations for electric bicycles. The motor works together with a combination of rotational and pedal force sensors to deliver a smooth and natural riding experience.
Fully charging the VanMoof S5’s integrated battery takes approximately 6,5 hours. A half-full battery (50%) is charged in approximately 2,5 hours. The battery is not removable and must be charged on the bicycle itself.
