What is the difference between an electric bicycle and an e-bike?
There's no difference. An e-bike is simply another name for an electric bicycle. Both terms refer to a bicycle with pedal assistance via an electric motor.
Do I need a driver's license for an electric scooter?
Yes, for most electric scooters (e-scooters) a driving license AM or B is required. For electric bicycles or steps this is usually not necessary unless they have a high top speed.
What is the maximum speed of an electric bicycle or scooter?
A standard electric bicycle supports up to 25 km/h, a speed pedelec up to 45 km/h. Electric scooters often reach 45 km/h.
How much does a good electric bicycle or scooter cost?
Our electric bikes start at around €1.500, while fat bikes and electric scooters cost an average of between €2.000 and €5.000, depending on brand, power, and battery capacity.
