We trade in almost all makes and models. e-bikes in, from city bikes to speed pedelecs and e-cargo bikes. Below you can read what your e-bike must comply with.

Which electric bikes can I trade in at MOEVS?
MOEVS accepts virtually all electric bikes, e-bikes, speed pedelecs, e-steps, e-scooters and e-skates that are less than 8 years old and in good technical condition. Your e-bike must be roadworthy, have no structural damage to the frame, and you must have the original battery, charger, and any keys (battery or frame lock). Premium brands such as Stromer, Riese & Müller, Trek, Specialized, Cube, and Gazelle generally retain a higher residual value.
The trade-in value is determined based on several factors: original new value, year of manufacture, mileage, motor and battery type, battery health, the general condition of the bike, and current market demand for your specific model. We also take our refurbishment costs into account so that the next owner receives an e-bike in top condition with a warranty. Premium brands generally retain a higher residual value than budget models.
Yes, completely free and without obligation. Via our online form, you will immediately receive an indicative value for your electric bike. You are in no way obliged to actually trade in your e-bike. The trade-in is only finalized when you accept the offer and bring your bike in person.
After receipt and technical inspection of your electric bicycle in our showroom in Eindhoven or Antwerp, you will receive the trade-in value in your bank account within 3 working days, or deducted directly from the purchase of your new e-bike.
Yes, you can also simply sell your electric bike to MOEVS, without the mandatory purchase of a new model. However, you will receive a higher trade-in value when you trade in your e-bike with the purchase of a new electric bicycle, e-scooter, or e-step from our range, thanks to our trade-in bonus.
You hand in your electric bike in person at one of our MOEVS showrooms in Eindhoven or Antwerp. Make an appointment via our form or walk in during opening hours. Our e-bike specialists check the bike on the spot and immediately arrange the payment or settlement with your new e-bike. A personal appointment has the advantage that you can ask questions right away and possibly try out a new e-bike.
You can also contact us for defective or non-running electric bicycles. MOEVSDepending on the nature of the defect and the residual value of components such as the frame, motor, and battery, we may still be able to make a trade-in offer. Please clearly state the defect on the trade-in form for an accurate valuation. For heavily damaged e-bikes of e-bikes Unfortunately, we cannot make a trade-in offer for unsafe batteries.
